The final and fifteenth round of 1990 World Championship @ Philip Island was a perfect example of just how inspiring 500 cc road racing can be given the right conditions.
The four hard men who battled it out here wheel-to-wheel a year earlier were joined by young Aussie Mick Doohan. This was easily the best race of 1990, and probably one of the best races of the 1990’s.
